In 2009, the Community Facility Enhancement Program provided funding to restore Dr. Keillor's historic 1918 log cabin for community use. The cabin was hand-built by Dr. Keillor upon his return from WWI, using local wood and river rock. Over the fireplace mantle, he placed a heart-shaped stone.
